We try to give over 30 members everything that they can manage to do.

It gives them a social life as well as giving their parents some respite.

Some of the things we do:

• Dancing and Discos
  
• Table Top Games
  
• Cooking
  
• Arts & Crafts
  
• Developing Life Skills

We also celebrate events such as Halloween, Valentine’s Day and so on.

In the past they have been on several residentials and had visits to:

• Theme Parks
  
• 10 Pin Bowling
  
• Zoos
  
• Archaeological Digs
  
• Museums, Cinemas & other places of interest.

All Members are required to enrol with Acorn Youth Club that meets on Tuesdays.
The main club is run by a fully trained Youth Club Leader and is helped by a team of volunteers who come from all walks of life. Every adult connected with the club is enhanced checked at CRB/DBS.

The Club is governed by a Management Committee of Trustees who are mainly parents of members.
